Program of Work Goals

Our chapter is not yet involved in one of the official programs of work, but we have had some great goals this year.

We want to Increase membership by:

25%

2013

2014

48 affiliated

63 affiliated

62 total

83 total

31% increase in affiliated members

34% increase in total members

Our Goal was Achieved!

We want to have the largest affiliated chapter in the State this year!

Host two fun nights for our Chapter!

FCCLA End of the Year Party

At the end of every school year we have a FCCLA party for all of our members. There is food, games, and even prizes. It is always a lot of fun, and it is a great way to end the year with all of our great FCCLA members.

Star Event Practice

New this year we will have a night for our members to practice their Star Event in front of judges. It will be a fun informal way to practice your event, so you can be less stressed about presenting for the first time at regionals.

We want to lead three chapter-wide community service and awareness events

Caps off to Domestic Violence

At the beginning of the school year, we had a day where any student could donate a dollar to wear their hat all day. Then, we donated the money to a charity for women in abusive relationships.

Texting and Driving

We held an assembly for the whole school in attempt to prevent texting and driving accidents. We played a texting and driving game, and watched an inspirational video.

March of Dimes

We organized a day for almost the whole entire school to wear purple in support of March of Dimes to raise awareness for premature births.

Fundraising

Champions Creepout

In the fall we hosted Champions Creepout for the first time. It was a lot of fun for everyone who participated. Our members set up the haunted trail, dressed up in scary costumes, created a storyline for the trail, and jumped out to scare people, all while raising money for our Chapter!

possible upcoming fundraisers

Selling Pies

This is a fundraiser that we have done in the past. Our members would make pies from scratch and then sell them. This fundraiser is very messy, but lots of fun!

Selling Pizzas

This is a new fundraiser. Our members would sell Papa Murphy's Pizzas in advance, and then deliver them at the end of the day on a Friday.

Selling Snack Sticks

This is also a new fundraiser, and is a State fundraiser idea. We would sell snack sticks (similar to beef sticks) for a dollar in three different flavors.
